Job description
Inspiring Opportunity: Part-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – California Join a mission-driven team dedicated to empowering students and transforming lives through school-based therapy. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to support an engaging part-time opportunity within a California school district for the upcoming academic year.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful, hands-on impact with elementary-aged students as they build the foundational skills needed for success in the classroom and beyond. In this rewarding position, you will work directly within school campuses, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized occupational therapy services.
Your expertise will support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care abilities, and classroom readiness—helping each child gain confidence, independence, and access to learning. This is more than just a contract—it’s an opportunity to become part of a supportive professional community that values your expertise and is committed to your success throughout the duration of your assignment and beyond.
What You’ll Do: Participate in evaluations, documentation, and IEP meetings as needed. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals. Work on-site within district campuses to provide consistent, student-centered support. Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students in a school-based setting.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress and success.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who hold an active or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of California and are willing to provide services in-person at assigned school sites. Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, along with a student-centered mindset.
A genuine passion for supporting children in reaching their full developmental and academic potential is essential for success in this role.
