In this role you will be responsible for:
Maintaining and adhering to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the artisan (Electrician) for operational and functional duties
The successful candidate will support Artisan with daily maintenance and breakdowns of all equipment and machinery to ensure smooth, sufficient operations underground
The successful candidate should be able to work independently from time to time.
Perform all duties instructed by supervisor/ manager from time to time which may not be related to job functions.
About you
Grade 12
Full N2 certificate
Artisan Aid Competency will be advantageous
Three (3) years’ experience in a mining underground environment
Medically fit to work underground.
