Senior Data Engineer

At the core of the role We are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team and support the design, development, and modernization of data solutions within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

In this role, you will work with Big. Query, Dataform, Python, and SQL to build and optimize data pipelines, drive ETL migration initiatives, implement automation and governance best practices, and support the integration of cloud and on-premises environments while contributing to advanced reporting and analytics capabilities.

Core skills you’ll bring In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Big. Query and Dataform , including: Data management and processing (data modeling, data pipelines, SQL development) Process control and automation (orchestration, CI/CD, monitoring) User access and permissions management Integration between cloud-based and on-premises applications (e.

g., Landing Zone → Big. Query) Authentication and authorization mechanisms Strong expertise in Python and SQL , including implementation, optimization, and automation of migration processes, testing, and regression testing. Experience with Informatica and the migration of ETL processes to Big. Query/Dataform is considered a strong advantage.

Familiarity with QLIK and equivalent solutions available within the GCP ecosystem is a plus. Good command of German and English , both written and spoken. The impact you'll create Design and develop scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , with a focus on Big. Query and Dataform . Develop, optimize, and maintain data models, SQL code, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data transformation processes.

Support the migration of ETL workflows from Informatica to Big. Query/Dataform , including the automation of migration, testing, and regression testing activities using Python and SQL . Implement and maintain orchestration, CI/CD processes, monitoring solutions, user access management, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
