Job Title
- AML Risk Sanctions Control and Strategy (Mandarin) Location
- Remote in US Pay rate - $38- $40/hr Contract - 1 Year with likely of extension Bilingual
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred as the successful candidate will be required to communicate with business partners in China) Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sanctions compliance, financial crime risk strategy, risk controls, or screening system implementation within fintech, banking, payments, e-commerce, or other financial services.
- Working knowledge of sanctions requirements and screening practices, including relevant OFAC, UN, EU, and UK sanctions frameworks, customer and transaction screening, list management, and alert generation.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: screening scenario or rule configuration, business requirements documentation, system implementation and UAT, control testing, screening optimization, or data quality monitoring. Ability to translate compliance requirements into practical system and process controls.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, reconciliation, and analysis, with the ability to investigate screening performance and data quality issues. Experience with Python, BI tools, or automated testing and reporting is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to independently manage assigned work, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate across functions, regions, and time zones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in Chinese.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Legal Studies, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. CAMS, CGSS, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
