In this role, you'll help manage and evolve the databases that power Planview's products. You'll work with modern Oracle environments, support our growing AWS infrastructure, and play a key role in our journey toward PostgreSQL as we modernize our database platform.

What You'll Do
Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle production databases. Install, configure, upgrade, and monitor Oracle database environments. Ensure database availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning improvements. Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Oracle Enterprise Manager environments.
Collaborate with development teams on SQL optimization and database best practices. Support and maintain databases running in AWS. Participate in planning and executing the migration of selected workloads from Oracle to PostgreSQL. Create and maintain automation, documentation, and operational standards. Contribute to capacity planning and continuous platform improvements.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA . knowledge of performance tuning, SQL tuning, backup and recovery, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based database environments.
Experience with PostgreSQL, or a strong interest in supporting Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects. Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
