Job description
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for performing various duties to maintain a clean and professional appearance for the numerous buildings in the contract scope.
**Duties: **

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.

Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
-
Clean building floors and entrances and stairs by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
-
Operate machinery to sweep/scrub factory areas
-
Maintain machines by cleaning and reporting any issues to management
-
Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
-
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

Service, clean, or supply restrooms/Locker rooms/Lunchrooms/Kitchenettes/Cafeterias
-
Gather and empty trash.
-
Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.

Notify Management of repairs needed or situations that need attention
-
Collect trash/cardboard throughout production areas with use of equipment or manually
-
Maintain separation between recyclables, trash and cardboard
**Requirements: **

Must pass a drug test

Must pass a background check
-
Prior cleaning experience preferred but will train
-
Must be a minimum of 18 years old
-
Must be detailed oriented
-
Must have reliable transportation
-
Must pass a background and drug test
-
Must be able to bend over a trash bin to remove up to 25lbs
-
Must be able to lift 25lbs during the entire shift
-
Capable of standing and walking up to 8 hours
-
Capable of bending and squatting up to 8 hours
-
Capable of pushing manual brooms and mops
-
Capable of pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, twisting up to 8 hours
-
Able to operate a Walk Behind Scrubber that involves strong physical abilities in the back, shoulder, arms, hip and neck
