About the Role

Ideally suited for a Clinical Psychologist, Allied Health Professional or Registered Nurse with experience in mental health care . Whānau Whakapuawai is a kaupapa Māori Perinatal Mental Health service. This initiative is focused on addressing a significant gap in services to assist whānau Māori working through perinatal mental health issues such as postnatal depression and anxiety.

The service offers a te awa whiria or braided river approach to care, integrating mātauranga Māori, cultural interventions and Western therapeutic modalities. Are you passionate about the wellbeing of Māori whānau? Do you have experience in mental health, perinatal /maternal mental health ? Are you keen to work for a kaupapa Māori community organisation?

We would love to hear from you if you are a C linical P sychologist, Allied H ealth Pr ofessional or Registered Nurse with experience in mental health care to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. Key service objectives include supporting Māori mother's /birthing parents working through complex needs, facilitat ing cultural connection and identity for whānau , and to whakamana whānau .
