Agency: Omd Job Function: Data and Analytics Job Subfunction: Data Engineering Job Description: The Manager, Data Operations will oversee the development and ongoing operation of one of our largest clients within Data & Tech. This role requires a strong familiarity with analytics and technology tools, both syndicated and proprietary.

The ideal candidate will proactively communicate ideas and opportunities, build strong relationships with internal teams and external client stakeholders, and contribute to the growth and development of the Data Operations practice. Primary Responsibilities Lead the development, maintenance and implementation of a comprehensive data management and integrity programme.

Oversee the design, requirements gathering, development and delivery of reporting applications. Manage cross-functional teams to understand complex data issues, establish priorities, develop improvement plans, allocate resources and implement solutions. Ensure consistent and comprehensive documentation of data-related standards and processes.

Facilitate communication and progression of tasks through regular status meetings and working sessions. Ensure industry data standards are appropriately utilised and leveraged to drive data quality and compliance. Act as the subject matter expert for projects relating to data quality and business rules. Propose and generate targeted solutions for data quality issues and operational inefficiencies.

Supervise analysts and offshore teams performing data operations, data quality assurance and data processing activities. Foster positive relationships with Planning, Channel Leads and Data Transformation Technology teams. Support the Operations Director with client management, media planning and execution, team coordination and process improvement initiatives.

Oversee the work of Senior Executives, providing guidance, support and ensuring activities align with project objectives. Experience & Skills Needed Minimum 1 years’ experience within an advertising agency environment; Ad Operations, Analytics or Digital Investment experience preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in data governance and data quality processes within Data Warehousing, ETL and Business Intelligence environments.

Minimum 2 years' experience in Business Analysis. Knowledge and experience across multiple media channels including digital, search, social and offline media. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Comfortable working with budgets, financial data and project scoping exercises. Strong Excel skills required.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
