Job Summary

Performs, evaluates, records and reports clinical laboratory tests used in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of patients on a variety of body fluids and biological specimens.

Qualifications

BA or BS in Laboratory Science with completion of 1 year training in an approved Medical Technology program or equivalent as per New York State Department of Health Standards and Laws Required or permitted by NYS Dept of Education as a Medical Technologist Required Experience is not essential Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Computer experience preferred. Three to six months training to be capable of normal productivity.
