Job description

This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.
You will be responsible for: provide support to the Executive Director, Performing Arts, with a focus on centralizing planning and administration for performing arts programming; coordinate the master programming plan, including compiling and organising project information, budgets, and administering the project evaluation system; prepare research, reports, and presentation materials to support management decision-making on artistic matters (e.
g. artistic objectives, strategies, resource planning, financials, and KPIs); coordinate and centralise project documentation, including memos, budgets, contracts, evaluation records, and payment processes; liaise with Performing Arts Division teams to coordinate internal Performing Arts venues booking schedule, ensuring optimal allocation of space and resources; coordinate delegation visits including scheduling, logistics, and on-site arrangements; liaise with internal teams across the Performing Arts Division, other departments, and external partners to consolidate inputs, and coordinate meetings (including scheduling, agenda-setting, and materials preparation); develop and implement administrative systems and processes to strengthen operational efficiency and programme support; and performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.
You should: possess a recognised university degree preferably in performing arts, arts or cultural studies, arts management, arts education or equivalent; possess 5 to 6 years of working experience, of which 3 years in arts and cultural field is preferred; have relevant working experience, be knowledgeable about the performing arts scene of Hong Kong and preferably possess good understanding of performing arts programme design and production; have good organisation and planning skills, preferably possess practical knowledge and experience in working programming budgets and administrative duties in arts and cultural field, policy writing; demonstrate strong administrative and multi-tasking skills, and high attention to details and acute awareness for holistic approach; demonstrate strong analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as self-motivated personality and be able to work independently and provide quality, timely support and delivery; and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access; and be literate in written and spoken English and Chinese.
