Your impact as a Facility Technician is vital. You will contribute to Vitalant's life-saving mission by maintaining, repairing, and installing building structures and equipment. You'll be familiar with departmental processes, work order management, card access, safety monitoring, MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and building automation.

Assist in the transportation of various equipment and supplies as required. Coordinate tasks with external contractors and vendors. Maintain accurate documentation of completed services and outsourced contractors. Aid the facilities team in ensuring staff compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice regulations, OSHA requirements, and departmental policies. Support maintenance staff with procedures, including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, ceiling, flooring, concrete work, and painting, as necessary. High School diploma or GED required Valid in-state driver's license Three years of relative experience Tradesman license preferred Able to lift 40lbs REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalent is required. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Licensed Tradesman is preferred. EXPERIENCE Three years of experience required. SKILLS/ABILITIES Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Able to make sound decisions on repairs. Able to work independently.
