Job description

YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES As a Proof of Concept Engineer, you'll be doing fast short-period projects for the Business Unit Robot Arms.

  • Own and execute customer PoCs from initial requirements through successful validation.
  • Design and rapidly deploy robotic automation solutions in customer environments.
  • Demonstrate the value of NEURA Robotics technologies through hands-on implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Act as the technical ambassador between customers, sales, product, and engineering teams. Customer Demonstrations & Field Deployments
  • Conduct live product demonstrations for customers, partners, and strategic prospects.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites across Europe and internationally to support evaluations, pilots, and deployments.
  • Support short-notice customer engagements when business opportunities arise.
  • Represent NEURA Robotics at trade shows, industry events, and customer workshops. Solution Development & Validation
  • Develop and configure robotic applications involving robots, cameras, conveyors, PLCs, and other automation equipment.
  • Prototype, test, and validate solutions in both laboratory and customer environments.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges onsite and provide rapid resolution.
  • Translate field feedback into actionable improvements for product and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Identify emerging customer needs and automation opportunities.
  • Gather field insights and convert them into product requirements and future use cases.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to accelerate product adoption and market fit. WHAT WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Automation/Robotics projects or similar.
  • Strong hands-on engineering mindset with a passion for robotics, automation, and customer interaction.
  • Experience implementing, commissioning, or supporting automation solutions in real-world environments.
  • Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions in dynamic situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting technical solutions to customers.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer requirements.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50–70% depending on project phase).
  • Flexibility to support occasional short-notice travel and customer engagements.
  • Experience with Python, robotics systems, industrial automation, PLCs, vision systems, or related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.
