****POSITION SUMMARY:  **** The Sr. Learning & Development Advisor is responsible for partnering, organizing, and leading the L&D strategy.  This requires partnering with key stakeholders and HR peers to create and implement unique learning strategies that develop people and leadership skills in order to drive improved business performance. The role will use internal quality-driven methodology and data analysis to identify root issues of performance opportunities; and will understand business objectives and advise leaders on people development decisions to achieve those objectives.  A Sr. Learning & Development Advisor has strong consultation skills, is a strategic thinker, has the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities, has strong business acumen and can establish credibility at all levels of the organization through communication, knowledge and professional presence.  

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended to be all-inclusive)

  • Consult with business partners and partner with HR peers to anticipate and understand needs and develop unique learning solutions to meet those needs including training, coaching, guides, observations, or other resources and learning interventions 
  • Organize work teams and execute L&D strategy based upon defined work group
  • Partner with design and delivery team to assess, design, and deliver solutions to meet business objectives
  • Manages and owns identified programs through current execution of solutions and future strategy of needs in defined work group
  • Partner with business to plan current and future training needs and prioritize work and requests
  • Assess and identify technology needs and lead implementations to address needs
  • Establish repeatable and sustainable processes to receive and review training requests. Determine solution with work team and partner with the business to advise on appropriate path forward
  • Develops and leads peak planning and execution of onboarding and training needs
  • Partner with DEI team to develop L&D specific strategy
  • Develops L&D controls and audit parameters to ensure compliance
  • Researches market trends and reviews future L&D solutions
  • Acts as coach and mentor to resolve L&D challenges
  • Plans and delivers solutions based upon metrics and business needs
  • Research and stay educated on industry and company trends; benchmark with other opcos and leverage best practices
  • All other duties as needed or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of internal consulting, business advisory, coaching experience
  • 3+ years’ training of leadership and/or sales curriculum preferred
  • Must be flexible and able to respond quickly to shifting priorities and demands
  • Prior experience in setting training strategy and program implementation, including design and assessment
  • Must be able to work with employees and management across all levels including outside vendors
  • Ability to organize concepts or ideas in a logical manner and communicate them clearly and concisely
  • Ability to Influence and persuade others to buy into goals or actions, without having to rely on positional power
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • This position may require up to 25% travel
