Childcare Cook

Location: My Kids Childcare Inc Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (based on availability) Job Description: My Kids Childcare Inc is seeking a dependable and caring Childcare Cook to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children in a licensed childcare setting.

This role is essential in supporting the health, well-being, and daily routine of our children. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare and serve Breakfast, Morning Snack, Lunch, and PM Snack in accordance with childcare licensing and CACFP guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures Accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs as required Keep accurate meal and kitchen records Assist with menu planning and inventory as needed Qualifications: Experience cooking in a childcare, school, or commercial kitchen preferred (but not required) Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Reliable, responsible, and child-focused Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements Benefits: Supportive and family-oriented work environment Consistent schedule Opportunity for pay increase with optional additional responsibilities If you enjoy cooking and making a positive impact on children’s daily lives, we would love to hear from you.
