You should have prior experience as an HVAC technician, hold an EPA certification, and be a team player who is also comfortable working independently. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Perform system tune-ups and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and repair HVAC components, electrical issues, leaks, and airflow problems including defective equipment, or wiring.
  • Test HVAC systems, electrical circuits, pipe joints, and tubing connections for proper functioning and potential leaks using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Follow schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of HVAC systems and prevent breakdowns.
  • Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and solutions.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on HVAC systems.
  • Provide recommendations that improve comfort and system efficiency
  • Represent the A-Perfect Climate brand with professionalism and integrity
  • Light installation support (Furnaces, ACs, Heat Pumps, Mini-Splits, Boilers) Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call Once a Month for a week.
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed (no maintenance scheduled on weekends only service calls) Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable record
  • Ability to pass background check & drug screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License required.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an light commercial HVAC technician, with experience in the operation and maintenance of Furnace, Air conditioner, boilers, heat pumps, air handlers.
  • Strong knowledge of furnace, AC, boiler, heat-pump, and air handler operation
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • HVAC certification or vocational training preferred.
  • NATE Certification preferred.
