Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Trauma ICU (NTICU) - Nights

What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Deliver care to critically ill neurological and trauma patients Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes Maintain continuity of care during shift changes and patient transfers Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs Follow age-specific safety, infection prevention, and quality standards Unit Highlights High-acuity Neuro Trauma ICU environment Complex neuroscience and stroke-related cases Severe trauma cases including motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and other critical injuries Research and educational opportunities Advancement opportunities within the organization National certification preparation courses Certification exam reimbursement and bonus opportunities Schedule Full-Time Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) 36 hours per week Weekend and holiday rotation required Requirements Qualifications Required RN license in Texas (or compact state) ADN or Nursing Diploma Minimum 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN Residency Program BLS certification ACLS certification CPI certification within 30 days of hire Preferred BSN ICU nursing experience Benefits Benefits Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Parental Leave Tuition reimbursement and student loan assistance programs Career advancement opportunities Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture
