Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹2.5LPM to 3.5LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide comprehensive gynecological care in the OPD setting. Perform routine and high-risk antenatal check-ups, monitoring fetal development and maternal health.
Manage normal vaginal deliveries with clinical expertise and adherence to hospital protocols. Perform cesarean sections (C-sections) under supervision, ensuring optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes. Conduct and interpret ultrasound (USG) scans for prenatal evaluation, diagnosis, and monitoring. Carry out Dilatation and Curettage (D&C) procedures with precision and patient safety as a priority.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, neonatologists, and nursing staff for holistic patient care. Provide patient education on reproductive health, contraception, and postnatal care. Participate in on-call duties and emergency obstetric care as required.
Requirements
MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM/DGO/DNB). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. Proven proficiency in normal delivery, cesarean section, ultrasound (USG), OPD management, and D&C procedures. Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including night and weekend on-call duties. Basic computer literacy for electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation. Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.
