Registered Nurse (RN) – Residential Youth Services Location: Evart, MI Job Type: Full-Time | Variable Schedule Pay: $70,000 - $75,000/ year Schedule: Includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed About Youth Opportunity & Osceola Youth Center Youth Opportunity is a nationally recognized leader in residential and behavioral health treatment for at‑risk youth.
Osceola Youth Center in Evart, Michigan is a trauma‑informed Youth Center serving boys ages 10 to 17 requiring behavioral stabilization. The program merges clinical therapy, education, life skills training, and expressive recreation to support emotional growth in a structured setting. Youth typically remain in care for 6 to 9 months , engaging in individual, family, and group therapy; restorative justice; victim‑impact awareness; and pre‑vocational preparation.
Programming in small group units encourages family partnership and successful return to the community.

You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure each youth receives individualized, holistic care that promotes both physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Administer prescribed medications and ensure accurate documentation Triage illness and injuries each shift, determine medical priority, and treat within scope of practice Monitor and document vital signs, medical progress, and health outcomes Conduct required health screenings and maintain immunization compliance Educate youth and staff on health topics, including universal precautions and communicable disease prevention Provide or coordinate CPR, first aid, and other medical training for staff as required Maintain controlled drug records and complete shift-to-shift medication counts Monitor and replenish health/first aid supplies, including AED and emergency kits Participate in treatment team meetings to support interdisciplinary care planning Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state healthcare regulations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida At least 2 years of professional nursing experience CPR certification Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred: Experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or correctional settings Physical Demands Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable Able to actively engage with youth, participate in physical interventions, and transport youth or staff as needed Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state Must pass evaluation of physical techniques and certification exams Other Requirements Valid state driver’s license Must meet state criminal background check requirements Flexibility to work variable hours as needed Apply Today Make a difference with us.
