Job Summary
Job Description: Job Summary Modaxo is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Manager to provide end to end HR operational and strategic support for a newly acquired business located in Columbia, Maryland. This role will be a hybrid position with 50% in office. The role reports to the General Manager of the business and has a dotted line to the Group Vice President of Human Resources.
The Senior Human Resources Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive and productive work environment, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. * Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, talent development, and offboarding. * Support the administration of Modaxo compensation and benefits programs, * Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Lead employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions * Ensure compliance with all federal and local employment laws and regulations * Utilize training resources for managers and employees. * Manage HR information systems (HRIS, Workday) and maintain accurate employee records. * Conduct HR audits and prepare reports on HR metrics and trends.

Collaborate with General Manager and functional leadership to foster a culture of engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a HR management role.
Experience in a remote first, highly matrixed environment is preferred. * PHR/SPHR certification is preferred. * Thorough knowledge of North American employment law and regulations is required. * Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs. * Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. * Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities. * Proficiency with HRIS (Workday) and other HR-related software. * Experience in a technology or fast-paced industry is an asset.
