Performs grounds keeping duties around the 2400-acre complex to include: mowing, raking leaves and landscaping to keep grounds free of debris for outside facility appearance.  Trims, fells and disposes of shrubbery and trees.  Assist Forestry Commission with control burns /maintain fire breaks for environmental purposes.

Performs outfall culvert maintenance and inspections with various landscaping equipment.  The use of hand tools for small engine repair and other equipment assigned to the base.   Heavy equipment operation with base perimeter road maintenance.  Installation of traffic signs and pavement markings, and ditch maintenance.
