In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals who support a diverse portfolio of clients and help deliver accurate, reliable, and people focused payroll services.

As our new Payroll Officer , you will: Support the processing of payroll for a variety of client organisations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal quality standards Maintain accurate , up to date , and confidential employee data across multiple systems Assist with statutory requirements, including returns, reports, and remuneration statements Prepare and support submissions such as Fund Claims and other statutory documentation, liaising with local authorities where required Respond to payroll related queries from clients with professionalism, clarity, and a strong service mindset Provide general guidance on employment related administrative matters, escalating complex queries when appropriate Collaborate with colleagues across PwC to deliver seamless, end to end client service Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, efficiency, and the overall client experience T his role offers structured learning, hands-on exposure, and the opportunity to grow your skills while making a meaningful contribution from day one .

About You

Is eager to learn and develop a career in payroll and client service Enjoys working collaboratively and values learning from others Is comfortable working in a structured, organised, and detail focused environment Communicates clearly and professionally in Maltese and English , both written and verbal Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and respect when handling confidential information Brings a proactive and positive mindset, with a willingness to adapt and grow Holds (or is working towards) at least an MQF Level 3 qualification .

A Diploma in Business from MCAST (MQF Level 3) is considered an asset, but is not essential We welcome applications from candidates with little to no prior experience .
