Associate Director of Marine Operations Boston, MA | Full-Time | $80,000 - $90,000 We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Marine Operations to help lead the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our passenger vessels.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily marine operations, developing Captains and crew members, supporting vessel maintenance initiatives, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support daily vessel operations and marine personnel. Coach, train, and develop Captains, Mates, and Deckhands. Serve as Captain on a rotational basis. Ensure compliance with Coast Guard regulations, safety programs, and company operating standards. Support vessel maintenance, repair planning, and capital improvement projects.

Manage crew scheduling, payroll administration, and operational resources. Resolve guest concerns and promote outstanding customer experiences. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Current 100-Ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License with an excellent operating record. Minimum 8 years of marine experience , including: 5 years as a Captain. 2 years of leadership or crew management experience. Strong knowledge of vessel operations, navigation, maintenance systems, and Coast Guard regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
