Role Overview We are looking for a new Bank Clinic Assistant to join our team in Nuneaton. As a bank role, the hours will be variable. Our Clinic Assistants are the face of Newmedica – in this role you’ll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for every patient who visits our clinic. You’ll support both the clinical and operational teams, carrying out diagnostic testing, managing patient appointments and records, and helping patients understand their treatment journey.

Working as part of a small, supportive team, you’ll help ensure clinics run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, professionalism and service. The thought of eye treatment can be a daunting prospect for patients to deal with, so our Clinic Assistants need to be able to put them at ease.

They also need strong communication skills to be able to explain the purpose of the different tests to ensure the patient understands their treatment. What Skills and Experience Do I Need? We’ll provide training so experience isn’t always needed, but the following things will be advantageous: Previous knowledge of working with patients or in a customer facing role Knowledge of eye physiology and treatment, or a keen interest to build knowledge in this area Administration skills A competent user of all Office 365 programmes and comfortable working on new systems such as patient record systems or diagnostic programmes An excellent grasp of the English language, both verbally and in written format A good team player – happy to jump in and support others when required A flexible, proactive approach with the willingness to learn What we’re offering An hourly rate of £14.
