Job Title: Cloud Storage Engineer Location: Trichy, India | Experience: 2–3 Years | Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a Cloud Storage Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain large-scale storage solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. Hands-on experience with Ceph is mandatory.
The ideal candidate also has experience with distributed storage systems, high-performance computing, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, manage, and optimize Ceph clusters storage solutions. Manage data center hardware clusters and ensure smooth operations. Implement storage replication, monitoring, and disaster recovery strategies. Automate storage management using Ansible, Terraform, and Rook. Write maintainable code in Python for tooling and automation.
Integrate storage solutions with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes). Troubleshoot complex storage and infrastructure issues at scale. Learn about new tools and deploy them Qualifications: 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Ceph (mandatory). Proficient in Python and automation scripting.
Hands-on experience with Linux, cloud technologies, and containerization. Experience with capacity planning, replication, and disaster recovery. Familiarity with IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform. Preferred: Experience with Rook or similar storage orchestration frameworks. Background in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
