Job description
Job Description: We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer for a full-time contract engagement supporting technically complex integration experiences for employers and ATS partners.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a senior product designer who can independently own design work from early exploration through prototyping, validation, and iteration. The role is not focused on people leadership or high-level design strategy.
The ideal candidate is comfortable designing for technical and partner-facing audiences, working within an established design system, and using AI-assisted tools to accelerate prototyping and design exploration.
Enterprise experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Design clear, intuitive product experiences for employer and ATS partner integrations.

Translate complex technical systems and partner workflows into usable product experiences.

Create user flows, wireframes, interaction designs, visual designs, and interactive prototypes.

Work hands-on in Figma throughout the design process.

Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.

Design within an established design system and follow existing component and interaction standards.

Plan or support usability testing and apply findings to design iterations.

Support A/B testing by creating design variants and incorporating experiment results.

Take ownership of assigned design work with limited oversight.

Communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications: Must-Have Skills

5+ years of professional Product UX Design experience.

Senior-level individual contributor experience.

Recent hands-on product design experience.

Strong proficiency with Figma.

Experience using AI-assisted design or prototyping tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools.

Experience designing within an established design system.

Experience with usability testing.

Experience with A/B testing.

Ability to design complex, technical, or partner-facing product workflows.

Portfolio demonstrating relevant product UX design work.

Ability to work independently and take ownership from the beginning of the engagement.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting technology, or HR technology.

Experience designing developer-facing or API-facing products.

Experience designing for two-sided marketplace platforms.

Experience with job seeker and employer marketplace products.

Experience applying WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.

Remote contract engagement.

Candidates must be based in the United States.

Strong working-hour overlap with U.S. Pacific and Central time zones is required.

Some overlap with Eastern time-zone working hours is beneficial.

Full-time allocation of approximately 40 hours per week.

Expected engagement through March 31, 2027.
