Mgr, Software Engineering (Hybrid - Brisbane, Australia)

This is the central leadership role in Opengear’s squad-based engineering model. You’ll lead 6-9 engineers across 2-3 domain squads—owning their delivery outcomes, backlog quality, and career development—while building the self-organising, Kanban-oriented culture that will define how Opengear delivers software for years to come.

This is a leadership role that asks you to step back from day-to-day technical contribution and invest your focus where it matters most: coaching your teams, preparing high-quality work, and removing everything that stands between your squads and uninterrupted delivery.
