Job description
The Court Security Officer provides armed security for Beaufort County courthouses and court personnel, and performs related work as assigned. This officer follows guidelines established by the Beaufort County Sheriffs Office, as well as South Carolina Court Administration concerning courtroom security and is under the direct supervision of the Special Operations Branch Courthouse Staff Sergeant.
Must perform general law enforcement duties.
