Medical Assistant - Float

Provides medical assistance to members and assists with meeting their healthcare needs. Services include assisting in examination and treatment of members (patients) under the direction of a provider. Assists with interviewing members, measures vital signs, and records information in members’ electronic medical record on the day of service.

Assists with coordination of health care needs of members to include primary care provider (PCP) coordination, coordinating provider appointments, follow up, obtaining medical records, and communicating and documenting member needs to the treatment team. Available to support all members needs at any clinic as assigned.

This position will travel to all four (4) adult clinics as needed for coverage.
