Job description

A pivotal senior management role within a prominent, non-profit organisation: Head of Marketing / Brand Strategist Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this position balances high-level strategy with hands-on operational execution. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, preserve brand equity, and lead an established marketing team while supporting donor acquisition and organisational impact.

The successful incumbent will demonstrate cultural awareness, sensitivity, and respect toward Jewish customs, traditions, and official holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute an integrated, multi-channel marketing strategy that promotes the organization's core mission and values. Brand Custodianship: Oversee visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging across all internal entities and external platforms. Digital Presence & Content: Expand the digital footprint (website, social media, paid campaigns) and drive compelling storytelling through impact reports, newsletters, and media releases.

Fundraising & Event Collaboration: Partner closely with Fundraising and Events teams to create high-impact donor campaigns, pre/post-event marketing, and retention materials. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and guide a creative marketing team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Executive Advisory & Reporting: Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and EXCO on communications, risk management, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Budget & Agency Management: Oversee the departmental budget with strong financial stewardship, while managing relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and freelancers. Candidate Profile & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Postgraduate degree or professional certification is desirable).

Experience: Minimum of 8 years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or executive leadership role. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success leading creative teams, managing external agencies, and executing end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns.
