Agro-Processing Assistants

THE AGRO-PROCESSING ASSISTANTS WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE DAY TO DAY PROCESSING OF FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND NUTS AT THE GHE MULTI-PURPOSE AGRO-PROCESSING CENTRE AT KEMBUJEH. THE PRODUCTS PROCESSED ARE BEVERAGES, FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FOR EXPORT, FORTIFIED CEREAL FOOD, HERBAL TEAS, ROASTED CASHEW NUTS AND PEANUTS, PEPPER SAUCES AND FRUIT JAM, ETC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in cleaning, sorting, grading, and processing agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, or cereals.
• Operate and monitor basic processing equipment and machinery.
• Support drying, milling, packaging, labeling, and storage activities.
• Ensure production targets and timelines are met.
