Job description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care within their scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OBSN) under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures comfort and safety, and supports nursing staff in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities include
monitoring and reporting patient observations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and responding promptly to patient needs. The CNA works collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote patient well-being, uphold infection control standards, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
