Workday Internal Jobs Site for Students Position Title: FFWS Peer Mentor Job Category: Student Hourly Job Profile: Student Help Job Summary: Only Fund for Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS) recipients are eligible to apply.

The FFWS Peer Mentor student employee serves as a peer mentor in the OMSA office and acts as a campus contact for FFWS grant recipients, with an emphasis on first-year and new transfer scholars. This position plays a vital role in helping students build strong connections to campus, increase engagement, and support the overall goal of scholar retention and graduation.

Responsibilities include

mentoring students, assisting with the planning and implementation of FFWS events, attending program activities, collaborating with fellow peer mentors, and maintaining a professional work environment. Peer Mentors are required to submit timesheets and weekly summaries on time, accurately enter data into Navigate and the FFWS database, and participate in weekly meetings with their supervisor.

Consistent communication, event participation, and accurate data reporting are essential to achieving FFWS program goals and student success outcomes.
