Job description
Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will work with the healthcare Providers/Clinicians to provide the delivery of quality Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team based care to patients. The CMA is educated and trained to perform both clerical and clinical tasks in the clinic environment.
The CMA will work directly with an assigned Primary Care provider to deliver patient care services ensuring positive patient outcomes in their care and its delivery, including the efficiency of the practice. The provider/CMA dyad is critical for continuity of care in addressing the needs of our patient population including annual health maintenance, acute and chronic care management.
