Primary Science Content Developer - Part-time (6-month contract)

Summary We are looking to hire a Primary Science Content Developer to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate will be an integral member of a team creating primary science content that appears on our digital education platforms. A significant component of the job will be writing audience-appropriate content and identifying areas where content needs to be improved or added.

Responsibilities

Write and review academic content to ensure it is developmentally suitable, well-structured, and appropriate for students learning primary science Analyze textbooks and curricula to derive course structure and plan content Identify topics where content needs to be added or improved to incorporate relevant and engaging materials Review primary science content translated into Arabic to guarantee that the translated content is of high quality and meets the linguistic and cultural needs of the target learners (if applicable) Develop assessments and learning objectives to measure student progress and work on curriculum refinement Qualifications & Work Experience An undergraduate degree or higher in science or a relevant field Experience teaching primary science or creating educational content in this area Strong command of both written and spoken English Experience with Ed.
