NATURE OF WORK This is skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work in preventative and corrective maintenance to include installation and repairs of industrial equipment with plants of the water and waste water systems at treatment facility or lift station. An employee in this class is responsible for performing or assisting in the performance of a variety of assignments of routine difficulty involving mechanical maintenance at a municipal water/wastewater treatment facility.
