Engineering Manager Suzhou, China (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in the office) Lead a High-Performing Engineering Team Are you an experienced Test Engineering leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a global technology-driven organization? We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a talented team responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating innovative products and systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong manager who enjoys developing people, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality engineering standards while partnering with cross-functional teams across the business.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Test Engineering professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee test strategy, validation activities, and troubleshooting processes for new and existing products. Ensure effective planning and utilization of engineering resources, schedules, equipment, and testing capacity.
Drive operational excellence while maintaining high quality and compliance standards. Support short-term planning, budgeting, and departmental priorities. Interpret and apply company policies and engineering standards to achieve business goals. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Development teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, processes, and overall team performance.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5-8+ years of engineering experience, including experience leading and managing technical professionals. Strong background in test engineering, product validation, systems testing, or related engineering functions. Proven ability to lead independent professionals and build high-performing teams.
Experience with resource planning, workload prioritization, and project execution. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day operational management. Preferred Experience working in a multinational or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of automated testing, test systems, diagnostics, or product development processes. Experience supporting budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Why Join Us?
