Senior SAP IS-U Consultant

This is a remote position. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior SAP IS-U Consultant with deep utilities-industry expertise to support a client in the energy and utilities sector. The ideal candidate has end-to-end IS-U configuration experience and understands the operational realities of billing, device management, and customer service for utility providers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP IS-U across core areas: Device Management, Billing and Invoicing, and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA).
• Design and support Move-In / Move-Out processes, meter reading, and meter data management.
• Manage master data structures for business partners, contract accounts, and installations.
• Support integration with CRM, meter data management systems, and downstream financial processes.
• Contribute to S/4HANA Utilities transition or migration activities where applicable.
• Gather requirements, author functional specifications, and coordinate with technical and offshore teams.
• Support testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization. Required Qualifications
• Must be US-based and authorized to work in the United States. - 10+ years of SAP experience with a strong concentration in IS-U / Utilities.
• Hands-on configuration expertise across Device Management, Billing/Invoicing, and FI-CA.
• Solid understanding of utility business processes (electric, gas, and/or water).
• Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-facing communication skills.
