JOB SUMMARY
Provides and coordinates direct care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) utilizing the nursing process. Is responsible for appropriately managing care of assigned patients who present with a life-threatening illness and/or disease.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. BSN or MSN preferred Licensure/Certification : Current RN License in the State of Georgia.
BLS required ACLS preferred CCRN preferred Experience: Experience preferred Critical Care Course/Internship preferred Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Additionally, proficient in special skills as demonstrated through completion of critical care skills check-off.
