Job Description Summary The Patient Access Specialist reports to the Administrative Coordinator. Under general supervision, The Patient Appointment/Registration Representative provides high level customer service while accurately completing registration. This position is responsible for patient registration, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and collecting copays and ensuring correct information is entered into EPIC.

  • EMG IOM & Neurovascular (Main) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-20 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Provide administrative coverage at the front desk including monitoring the clinic appointment line to include scheduling appointments for clients from outside medical, hospital, correction systems. Answer multiline telephones. Take payments from clients for clinical services. Complete client registration ,and documentation. Schedule interpreters for clients. Retrieve billing charges. Additional Job Description High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.
