Junior Kid's Connection Leader (School Year, Day Shift)

Job Overview: The Junior Kid's Connection Leader is a part-time position located at the South Point Center. The Leader reports directly to the Site Supervisor. The Leader is responsible for daily implementation of the program, assisting in scheduling activities and supervising children, within the guidelines of Junior Kid's Connection goals and philosophy.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities: Significant involvement in leading activities and interacting with children in the Junior Kid's Connection Program Some involvement in planning and organizing a multi-recreational program Some involvement with staff, parents, school and Park District personnel Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 16 years of age Special knowledge of children's physical, emotional, and developmental patterns Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the Park District Benefits: Employee Wellness Programs and Incentives Employee Recognition Programs Discounts at Our Golf Course Season Passes to Our Aquatic Center Free or Discounted Prices for Our Fitness & Special Event Programs Hours: 9:15am - 1:15pm, Monday through Friday Rate: $15.
