City/State: Nyack, New York Department: Nyack Hospital Foundation Work Shift: Day Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 8 HOURS Hours Per Pay Period: 40 Pay Rate/Range: Starting at $83,500 Job Summary The Foundation Events Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and growth of all fundraising events that support Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
This role focuses on delivering high-impact, revenue-generating experiences while strengthening donor engagement and community visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all fundraising events (Derby Royale, Golf Classic, Rides & Strides, etc.)
- Manage event timelines, logistics, vendors, budgets, and execution
- Coordinate event committees, volunteers, and board engagement
- Oversee sponsorship fulfillment and donor experience at events
- Manage event-related communications (invitations, signage, journals)
- Conduct post-event analysis, reporting, and stewardship follow-up
- Ensure all meetings include agendas and follow-up notes within 48 hours

- Teamwork: Collaborative, respectful, and mission-driven approach Essential Functions Execute and manage all high-level fundraising special events, while adhering to fundraising goals from inception to completion Manage the timely design, production and distribution of all event collateral including save the dates, invitations, signage, flyers/posters, journals and all event mailings Coordinate all donor marketing and communications activities including quarterly e-newsletter, Foundation website, email blasts, and manage content for all social media outlets Create and track event timelines and budgets Arrange committee meetings, take and distribute meeting notes in a timely fashion Create event timeline and coordinate all logistics including food and beverage, seating assignments, A/V, and journal/program, etc. Manage all event contracts and maintain relationships with all event vendors Prepare materials necessary for fund-raising events Work closely with Finance to process invoices and maintain strict budgets, provide cost analysis and reconciliation of financial reports in a timely manner Work on special events in any and all capacities needed (for example, picking up donations for auction, setting up and cleaning up for events, transporting donations/auction items, etc.) Train committee members and volunteers prior to events Manage pre and post event follow up, including solicitation letters, and “thank you” letters Coordinate post event feedback sessions in order to provide event improvement and growth Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless events Responsible for soliciting all in kind, auction and raffle donors as well as managing the supplemental activity from beginning to completion ensuring it raises additional monies for the Hospital Ability to work cross functionally with the entire Foundation Office Develop working knowledge of data base system Additional duties as necessary Qualifications High School Required Bachelor Degree Preferred 4-6 years Experience in Event Planning, fundraising or Non-profit development Preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work evenings/weekends for events. High energy, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Physical agility including but not limited to walking, bending, climbing stairs, and periodically lifting up to 25 lbs. Reliable transportation is required.
