Job description
Commonwealth Pain & Spine is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support patients and providers in delivering compassionate, effective pain management care. This role includes updating medical histories, documenting pain levels, performing triage, preparing and cleaning exam and procedure rooms, assisting with pain procedures, managing patient records in EMR, coordinating medications with outside providers, and providing post-procedure instructions.
Ideal candidates have knowledge of medical terminology, strong computer and phone skills, accurate typing ability, multitasking skills, HIPAA awareness, and reliable attendance. Medical Assistant, pain management, EMR, KASPER, and INSPECT experience are preferred.
