The team you will be a part of The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.
This role in summary To create and implement the sourcing strategy for Kitchen. Aid Small Appliances OEM business; to develop strong supplier relationships and ensure business continuity through problem resolution, cost optimization, innovation, and project management.
Your responsibilities
will include Developing the sourcing strategy for Kitchen. Aid Small Appliances (KASA) and managing the business relationship with the suppliers (supplier selection, supplier development, contract negotiations, tariff analysis, supplier issue resolution, supplier cost reductions, purchase order approvals, and management).
Serving as key procurement contact for all new product launch activities in categories such as cooking, espresso, toasters & kettles, blenders, etc. Leading and supporting various process partner needs, including engineering, marketing, and design. Evaluating suppliers on cost, quality, delivery, and other information to determine the viability of suppliers.
Performing periodic market testing to drive cost leadership. To coordinate and track progress on key procurement metrics such as productivity, spend under contract, supply base reduction, cash flow improvement, quality warranty recovery among others. Driving compliance to processes and continuous improvement in the Kitchen.
Aid Small Appliance (KASA) space. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are accomplished in all work streams. 3 dotted line reports: to help coach and develop 3 dotted line reports.
