Chemist II

Chemist II plays a key role in supporting the Lab Manager by overseeing day-to-day analytical laboratory operations. This includes performing and developing accurate chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. The role leads method development, optimization, and validation activities in compliance with ISO 17025 and regulatory standards.

It also includes ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and managing general laboratory upkeep to support efficient and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include

managing nonconformance events (OOS, OOT, deviations), supporting CAPA investigations, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, ensuring audit readiness, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and providing training and guidance to junior staff. This role promotes a culture of safety and operational excellence within the laboratory environment.
