Hospitality Kitchen Porter

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour Job Purpose: To provide a food and drink service in a welcoming, clean environment for our residents/customers in our village cafe. Key Outcomes/Results: Creates a welcoming environment for residents and customers in our village restaurants with a focus on customer service and providing a wide variety of food and drinks.

Builds a rapport with residents. Provides a café/barista service in the village restaurants. Supports team members by assisting in the preparation of food and beverages. Responsible for day-to-day cleanliness, hygiene and washing up after a food service. Safely closes down the kitchen at the end of the day in line with protocols in preparation for the next day.

Removes waste. Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices Knowledge of health and safety principles Good standard of general education Desirable: Food hygiene qualification level 2 Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent Experience working in a busy café/restaurant environment 5 days over 7.
