We’re looking for someone with deep Flutter expertise who actively finds better ways to work with AI. You should be comfortable owning complex features, making architecture decisions, and solving difficult production problems. AI-first development is a core part of this role. You’ll help build the systems around coding agents: the context they receive, the tools they use, the permissions they have, and the checks that validate their work.
You’ll turn useful experiments into reliable workflows that other engineers can use. Your Flutter expertise and engineering judgment will guide this work. You’ll be responsible for understanding, reviewing, and validating what ships. What you’ll do Own complex features from technical design through release, working with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
Help shape new projects and improve existing applications. Make architecture decisions that keep our Flutter codebase maintainable as it grows. Investigate and resolve performance, reliability, and cross-platform issues. Build tests and automated checks that support safe, frequent releases. Create and improve AI workflows for exploration, implementation, refactoring, debugging, testing, and code review.
Configure agent harnesses, project instructions, reusable skills, and tool integrations for our codebase. Evaluate new AI methods and share approaches that improve engineering quality and delivery. Support other engineers through mentoring, code reviews, and technical discussions What you bring Senior Flutter expertise Strong experience building and maintaining complex Flutter applications in production, with ownership of technical decisions and delivery.
Deep knowledge of Dart and Flutter, including asynchronous programming, widget lifecycle, rendering, and performance. Experience with state management and modular application architecture. We use BLoC and Cubit. A strong understanding of API integration, data handling, and error recovery. The ability to investigate difficult bugs, explain technical tradeoffs, and work through unclear requirements.
A practical testing approach, with experience choosing the right tests for important application behavior. Clear communication and the ability to help other engineers make good technical decisions. AI-first engineering Practical experience using coding agents for complex engineering work. An understanding of agent harnesses, including context management, tool use, planning and execution, permissions, and feedback loops.
Experience setting up or extending reusable AI workflows for a large codebase. The ability to review generated code critically, catch incorrect assumptions, and validate results. An active interest in testing new models, tools, and methods and incorporating useful approaches into your daily work. Good judgment about where AI helps, where it needs closer guidance, and when to solve a problem directly.
How we work Our Flutter monorepo uses a feature-based modular structure. We use automated checks, static analysis, and CI/CD to support development and releases. Our testing includes unit, widget, integration, screenshot, and end-to-end tests. Engineers contribute to both product development and improvements to our tools and workflows.
Additional experience we value Flutter Web or native Android/iOS development. Design systems, reusable UI components, and accessibility. Payments, authentication, secure storage, biometrics, deep links, or push notifications. Firebase, application monitoring, and performance analysis. CI/CD with GitHub Actions or monorepo tooling such as Melos.
Custom agent tools, MCP integrations, or shared agent configurations. Evaluating the quality and reliability of different models and AI workflows.
