Job Title: Car Mechanic Employer: AG National Motors Ltd Location: Unit 1, Larkin's Cross, Parteen, Co. Clare, V94 920N, Ireland Salary: €37,544 per year Hours: 40 hours per week Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialised diagnostic equipment. Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
Repair and replace components including timing chains, timing belts, clutches, brakes, suspension systems and steering components. Perform engine, transmission and electrical system inspections. Conduct road tests to identify and verify vehicle faults. Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and parts used. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and health and safety regulations.
Communicate repair requirements and technical findings to management and customers.
Requirements
Experience as a Car Mechanic, Motor Technician or similar role. Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures. Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and tools. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Relevant mechanical qualification is a bonus.
