CRNA - Day Shift

We are seeking a CRNA to join a dynamic anesthesiology group, within a medically supervised practice that promotes CRNA autonomy; Level II trauma center; Opportunity for in-house locums; Essential Functions Practices current principles and practices of anesthesiology.

Maintains effective work relationship with anesthesiologist (supervisor). Communicates and cooperates to adequately staff the anesthesia department. Provides sound practices and safe therapeutic care. Promotes safe working conditions for patient and self. Demonstrates initiative for self development. Accepts responsibility of tasks not delineated in job description.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Skills Abilities Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Skill in taking medical history to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.

Requirements

Certificate as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesia. Current Missouri Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 days Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 180 days Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 120 days.

Positions Available: Day Shift Opportunity to practice a wide variety of anesthetics and procedures including spinal, regional techniques, arterial lines, and central lines; Cases include general, ortho, ENT, GU, OB/GYN, podiatry, robotics, GI and healthy PEDs; Appealing day shift schedule: 6-week rotation (3 weeks of 10s, 3 weeks of 12s) with 1 weekend in each 6-week rotation Competitive Salary $80,000 Sign-on bonus/education stipend Benefits (Health, vision, dental, and life insurance; retirement program, disability pay, flexible benefits program, longevity pay, malpractice covered New, near-site, state-of-the art-daycare/learning center is available exclusively for children of Freeman employees.
