Facilities/Equipment Maintenance Technician

Participates in Building Equipment Maintenance function using carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and other maintenance skills. Performs preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment such as tightening fan belts, changing filter, etc. Performs routine repairs to equipment by replacing motor, belts, seals, fuses etc.

Maintains adequate safety protection and procedures for public and building occupants by ensuring the elimination of dire and other safety hazards. Performs periodic and mandatory environmental testing of lights, sound, and air quality. Performs safety inspections of building equipment such as security systems and mechanical.
