94 - $22.07 Position Summary Site Support Staff provide non-instructional support at Ed. Advance Adult & Continuing Education program sites. Depending on the needs of the assigned site, responsibilities may include welcoming and directing students and visitors; monitoring site access. Site Support Staff play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for adult learners and program staff.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Student, Visitor, and Site Support Greet students, staff, visitors, and other individuals entering the program site in a welcoming and professional manner. Follow site procedures for student and visitor sign-in and monitor access to designated program areas. Direct students and visitors to the appropriate classroom, office, or program area. Assist with maintaining an orderly, safe, and welcoming environment at the program site. Follow building access, safety, and other site-specific procedures. Notify the Enrichment Associate or custodial staff promptly of safety concerns, building issues, unauthorized access, or other concerns that may affect program operations.
  2. Communication and Teamwork Communicate respectfully and effectively with adult learners, staff, visitors, and community partners. Work cooperatively with the Enrichment Associate, instructors, and other program staff. Report questions, concerns, incidents, or unusual situations to the Enrichment Associate promptly. Perform other duties related to site support as assigned by the Enrichment Associate or Director. Supervision Site Support Staff work under the supervision of the Enrichment Associate and the Director of Adult Education .

Qualifications

Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with adult learners, staff, and visitors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions, procedures, and established site protocols.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when working with customers and staff. Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of support duties based on the needs of the assigned site. Ability to remain attentive and focused while completing assigned responsibilities. Work Environment Site Support Staff may work in classrooms, offices, common areas, and other program spaces within adult education facilities.

Work assignments and responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the individual program site. Employees are expected to follow all Ed.
